Our local angler was fishing from his boat and throwing his favorite lure. He practice's catch and release with the large and small mouth bass. Our trout sites are producing some rainbow trout action and Power bait seems to work the best. A good technique to try is when your bait slows go to your favorite spinner. Barry Annin stopped in for some power bait and to show off his catch. Our Kingman angler was fishing form shore in the rotary park area but was boasting of having some great luck at Davis camp. Our 11 year old angler James Jung was fishing from shore in the rotary park area and using anchovies. His first fish a nice little striper at 1.49 pounds and 16 and 1/8 inches. This time of year there tends to be a lot running the river in this range. With the limit here on the Colorado River below Davis dam at 10 you can have a great fish fry with these stripers. For now remember to ice that catch down and bring them in to share.
